Here is the interpretation to what Seal is singing about:
It is obvious when taken into account what he dressed in, what he is holding in his hands, the two of them, what the dancer is wearing, and how he is dancing with her.

The song is about several things one of which is the burden of living in a society where love between races is frowned on - yes even in the 1980s in London. The song was written in the late 1980s and released in early 1990.

"Take the chance.. Price of Faith"
talk about the people going under
    Only a child know"
= Don't be afraid of your feelings, take a chance, this is the price of what you truly believe in.
= Remember all those who died for what they believe in.
= Only a child knows the purity of love without man-made/church-made boundaries. (He is holding prayer beads in his hands, and at the beginning he introduces her carried seemingly dead like a martyr)

"A man decides after seventy years
That what he goes there for
    Is to unlock the door
While those around him criticize and sleep"

= An elderly man went to church for 70 years - the bulk of his life- but he finally realizes that the bulk of his life was wasted in a belief that was not shared by anyone else. He found out that he goes only to open his heart and his mind while others don't want to join him, have nothing in common with him, criticize him but don't want to offer him any solutions. He is still alluding to how society is criticizing their love.
[The dancer at one point stops dancing, pants being tired of what is happening around her]

"And through a fractal on a breaking wall
I see you my friend and touch your face again
Miracles will happen as we trip
But we're never gonna survive unless
    We get a little crazy
No we're never gonna survive unless
    We are a little
    Cray cray crazy"

= There is an image here, a mental one of decay as if he is standing in ruins not a civilized sciety. All he can see as a single ray of light is the face of his beloved and touches her face. He hopes for miracles that will happen as they go through the journey of life but realized they can't survive without breaking the molds society wants to bit them in, they will not survive unless they become a little "crazy".. perhaps the word used for any one from a certain race trying to date another at that time and still till today in some communities.

"Yellow people walking through my head
One of thems got a gun to shoot the other one
And yet together they were friends at school
    Yea,yea,yea, yeah! No No No
If all were there when we first took the pill
There baby oh baby bada baby oh baby
Miracles will happen as we speak
But we're never gonna survive unless
    We get a little crazy
No we're never gonna survive unless
    We are a little Crazy"

= He used the colour yellow here because it was associated with insanity in medieval literature, he also uses a COLOUR for people, a colour= a race. But he chose yellow to obscure it and say "whatever race they are, they two used to be friends when they were kids -remember when he used "only child knows"??- but now that they grow up, they have nothing but hate for each other they want to kill each other.
= But he realized all of us are human, all of us were there when we first "took the pill", an amazing use of language to remember the story of creation, the original sin, the choice to disobey, the choice to be free and have our own will. It was the same expression used many years later in the Matrix when Morpheus asked Neo to "take the pill", the red one will wake him up to a horrid truth, a blue one will send him as was no harm done.

Now I am not sure if he says Amanda decided or a man decides, if it is Amanda I have no idea who she is or what that is. But I reckon he was repeating the first line "A man decides...." not Amanda.

As for the rest, "in a sky full of people, in a town full of people"... only two want to fly, isn't that crazy?"
= In a world full of potential, possibilities, etc, nobody wants to take that opportunity except TWO people.... i.e, two people willing to fall in love.

Isn't that crazy? Oh yes it is damn crazy if you ask me.

I studied poetry for years, art, linguistics, allegory, name it. So that was my 5cents worth.
    Happy new year from London

I think everyone is missing the rampant occult symbolism throughout this music video, and the deeper meaning of this video. I do agree with the prior poster that there is a lower level story of romance as well.

But this is actually about where we live, why we live here, and for an outsider looking in, why it's staying that way. Allow me to explain.

The orange couch (that color was chosen on purpose, in pythagorean gematria the color orange is 33, which tells you - we're going to laugh in your face about truths we know that you don't).

The couch itself actually represents the flat earth, with Mt. Meru in the middle. This is actually really important. Legend tells of the gateway out of this reality matrix through Mt. Meru, which is in the center of the flat earth.

He came to this place to "unlock the door" and leave the matrix, he will leave "through a fractal on a breaking wall". It will take him out of this realm and back to where he was before he came here. Many believe this place to be the underworld, with it's black hole sun - that's where the old man is going "under".

The person he's seeing through the fractal, and touching the face of, is his friend, it's himself.

You have to be a little crazy to trust that you won't die in the process of leaving, you won't be returning to the world that you once knew if you do ever, you have to take a leap of faith, you gotta be a little crazy, or you're "never gonna survive." The never gonna survive part refers to you reincarnating in this realm indefinitely until you leave. So unless you take the risk of leaving you're stuck here forever. Clever way of saying it.

"If all were there when we first took the pill" refers to when everyone decided to come here, there are multiple red pill references, fascinating that this came 8 years before the matrix movie. "Then maybe" I believe refers to us all knowing why we were here in the first place.

"Miracles will happen as we speak." This is dual purpose. 1.) If everyone knew and started talking, and we all realized what was going on, perhaps we could create heaven on earth. 2.) Words are vibrations and frequencies given to the earth, spelling matters, and the spelling of words is named after magick spells. So, I think this is another laugh in your face moment that you don't realize that words and the spelling of words that come out of your mouth matter (and can create miracles).

"In a sky full of people, only some want to fly". This is referring to the fact that so many people are complacent here, as others have alluded to. My addition to this thought, is that this is specifically referring to the unwillingness for people to leave, happy to reincarnate over and over and over. Why would only some people want to leave? Why is everyone happy living their life through a computer simulator? Isn't that crazy? In my opinion, yeah... yeah it is. This could also be alluding to us being actually able to fly (figuratively or literally) in the other realm.

At one point they show the dove and it snowing on seal on the couch. I think this is an allusion to the exits being at the poles on the flat earth.

The last part of the song not in the music video is why I know the occult (read: hidden) meaning to this video is a valid one.

"When you see things, the size, of which you've never known before, they'll break it" When you see the giants (and other non-humans, possibly the controllers? what we might see as Gods), you'll solve the riddle of this song. Humanity will remember why they were here. And they'll trust enough to go home.

"Only child know." This is critical. We have some remembrance of our prior lives and history before this place that lives within us. Our attachment to this knowledge is removed over time here. Thus, only the children are aware of why they're here. He bridges this with "them things the size of which you've never known before" which places these monolithic beings at the origin, that children only remember.

He the ends with "Someday, someway" repeating, which refers to us realizing why we're here and the collective consciousness of humanity winning. Leading to a mass exodus of this reality, and the end of our enslavement.

Sorry if this got a bit weird for anyone, but we're never gonna survive, unless, we get a little.... crazy.

    -Chris

“In a sky full of people only some want to fly isn’t that crazy”

It’s a line that tells how many of us are ‘happier’ living under a rock rather than manifesting success for ourselves through any talents we might have.

The reasons are many and are probably wrapped-up in nature/ nurture influences/traumas etc throughout an individuals life.

In reply to the previous poster hearing “Jah” where many sites list “child”, it could mean both in the way that a child is closer to Jah, not yet tainted by society.

To the stupid, arrogant, ignorant, fuck who insults other people yet has the intelligence of a clump of wet dog hair who posted his comment at exactly 9:40am Sep 8th, 2018. What you described, "going onto youtube and searching the song" is NOT RESEARCH YOU BLITHERING FOOL!

I've done my research, and you are a fool. You think because you scrolled down some random youtube video and it lists Willie Nelson as a writer that it's true? You think some random fuck who uploaded a youtube video is infallible? You think some random info on the internet is infallible? You are beyond stupid. You also double posted like a fucking fool.

    https://www.discogs.com/composition/fd244be6-fe7a-4635-8a08-553a27571d30-Crazy

It lists the writing credits, nowhere does it say Willie Nelson the fucking folk-country singer. You are just so beyond stupid I don't even know how you tie your fucking shoes. You probably wear shoes with Velcro straps.

Guy Sigsworth & Seal Are actually credited with writing the song.

P.S. To, too, and two are three different things. Here's an example for you.

To the idiot who doesn't know what two plus two equals: you are too stupid for words.

If everyone would do some reading before incorrectly making a statement of who they think wrote the “Crazy” song performed by the artist Seal, it might help them sound less stupid. Singer song writer Willie Nelson did in fact write this song.
Look it up on YouTube and scroll down to the credits and release date: (if you don’t find that task to difficult).
You might not only be surprised but also find yourself proven wrong or “Crazy”!!!

If everyone would do some research on google and YouTube you would find out that Willie Nelson is listed as writer on several sites for the singer Seal and the song he recorded called “Crazy”...not to be confused with the song “Crazy” he also wrote for the late singer Patsy Cline.
I think I read it correctly in several different articles and credits....and I really don’t think I was “Crazy” when I read about it either!!!!!

I may be wrong but I believe Seal practices or practiced Nichiren Buddhism, founded in 13c Japan by Nichiren and based on Shakyamuni Buddha, Siddartha Gautama's Lotus Sutra expounded by Gautama in India when he himself was around 70 years old. The message of the Lotus is that, like Gautama's, our lives are essentially eternal and one with the universe and one another if we could but see it (through the fractal..). Gautama's Lotus predicts Nichiren's advent 2,000 or more years hence to make this message, which seems to defy common sense, available to all, but it takes a leap of faith, 'thinking' outside the box, or getting 'a little bit crazy'. Nichiren Buddhism is now, 2015, practiced by a world wide lay organization called SGI.

This song was written by Willie Nelson, not Seal. People should consider that when trying to come up with their interpretations of the songs meaning.

Here is something that bothers me about this song. I bought this album on cassette tape, back in the 1990s. Where Seal is supposed to be saying, "Only child know," I always thought he was saying, "Only Jah know." Because "Jah" is the Rastafarian word for God (derived from the King James version of Psalm 68, and probably ultimately derived from "Yahweh"). That seemed to make sense, and I figured somewhere Seal had contact with the Rastafarian movement and picked that up. But now that I've looked up the lyrics online, every source I can find says it's "Only child know." Which doesn't seem to make obvious sense, and bothers me. Any chance the "official" lyrics could be wrong?
