   I have thoughts that this song means that religion should not be fought over by involving killing conquest etc. I do not feel like explaining it because i am to lazy as well as i dont feel like sighning in to my account on this so i will leave it up to you to figure it out.( get the joke in the last three words)

   what I conceived from this song is that the writer wants to say religion has been misinterpreted and abused buy leaders and used as a tool for power, where he says : "from the prophet came the king".
   he means that prophet came for a goal but it lead to kingdoms that was not based on prophets goals because this kingdoms lead to "the pauper".
   And I guess he wants to say that this attitude toward religion would led to nothing but war, and what some people think that their religion is the key to redemption would be the key to war, where he says:
   "Do we ever have enough
   When we see that blue dove
   We want to go where no ones been
   No ones been"
   I conclude that he means what we think as Armageddon that is the time when Jesus or Budda or Mahdi will come to form a new world that no one has ever been, is just what we are told by our religion leaders and this idea is being used as a tool by them for power "praise the lord and pass the ammunition" for those leaders this idea is what construct their power and for us this is just war and hate and poverty, and he wants us to know, this utopia can be achieved only by considering the truth about religion which is love "you don't know what this love is all about" and we should know what love is really about(and for sure that is not war and killing for ideas) , so I guess he want us to consider the goal of creation and prophets LOVE and this love should be love to everything and everyone and simply to creation . If we want that utopia we should stop feelings like hatred and start to love.

   This song has two meanings for me personally.
   Some may be offended by the meanings I have found so please DON'T HATE!
   
   The first meaning is that dear ole Serj is saying that the government is being very hypocritical and not to mention bipolar. One day they "praise the lord" and promise peace and the next they start wars and kill innocent people.
   
   It could also be about the catholic church and their overtaking.
   
   This has been a Paula Interpretation .
