April Come She Will Lyrics

April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
May, she will stay,
Resting in my arms again.

June, she'll change her tune,
In restless walks she'll prowl the night;
July, she will fly
And give no warning to her...

    Just an allegory for the growth, life, and death of a brief love affair, expressed through the months from spring (April) to fall, and in a cold climate at that, since autumn winds are blowing chilly and cold in August.

    His team is out of contention well before the end of the season. (the Mets?)

    Paul Simon said that he wrote this song as a companion piece specifically for the movie "The Graduate". The movie producers didn't use it but did use an unfinished version of Mrs. Robinson.

    I believe one of the participants nailed it - the life of a butterfly and the love of a woman. Regardless, there are no right or wrong answers for this beautifully composed song (artists that pen these kind of songs want your forever contemplation). While you are doing that, simply float away like a butterfly to the beautiful melody of this song and think about how that (she comes but once in a lifetime) woman slipped through your grasp. You're not alone though, many of us yearn for one more "forever" glance into her heavenly eyes and perhaps one more soulful embrace.

    The life of a dandelion flower. Paul should have said that in a late night show

    The dynamic between AG and PS is a mystery to me. Do they rehearse? Do they just walk on stage and sing these songs?
