   I think it means that sometimes we want to handle things on are own. We dont wanna surrender to God and patiently wait for a fix to our problems. We want answeres immediatley so we try to deal with things ourselves.

   I think this song is about someone who has simply had enough. Enough of everything, and when they reach out... Its too much to even fathom, that someone else out there could possibly feel that way.
   This person really sounds selfish, or portrays that they really don't wanna hear what else might be said.
   I'm hearing pain, but the reluctance to ask for help.
   I'm hearing a young child, screaming because they don't understand.
   Honestly, one of my my favorites by Skillet.
   Great job guys.

   This person obviously is hurting, and he wants the person who hurt him to hurt the same way, so, that's why he's so hateful towards him. Either that, or he/she's so depressed and sock of her/his life that hurting other people is a way for him/her to feel better. I do the same thing.
