   Girl/Guy want one another back in relationship, but one hurt the other therefore they will not accept the relationship again, ending in one of them having to be sad and the one who got hurt happy, cause the sad one was selfish and the hurt one is doing better.

   The meaning to this song is smiple, its about a couple who love eachother but thinks its best to step back for a relationship. It looks asthough he may have said a few things he wish he didn't, but its too late. He obvioulys wants the girl back but instead has to watch her be happy from the back seat for a while. He thinks that he is holding the girl back and not letting her fill he pertensiols so decides its best to let go and let her live her life. Two people can both love and care for eachother very much but for some reason decide a relationship is not what's best, this song is a perfect example for this situation.

   This song is about loving someone so much that u let them go because that is what is best for them.Sometime no matter how much two people care about eachother, they cannot be together. It doesnt mean for a second that they dont love eachother, they just have to step back and watch eachother be happy from a distance. Breaks my heart and I miss him everyday... but I hope that he is happy

   This song is about a couple who loved each other but the timing wasnt quite right for them and he is letting her go from his life to make sure she can live her life without him holding her back. You can love someone so much but still have to let them go due to timing or circumstances. He would have her back in second. but she's got to lead her life first.
   
   I know what this situation feels like. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of what I had with someone and it breaks my heart that we did what we did.
