   Classical but - like every Taylor song - funny and catchy love song.
   The song is about a guy, Stephen Barker Lile, singer of the country band Love and Theft, who Taylor had a huge crush on, but she never told him. So, she said, she wrote a song for him - name included - and let him know about her feelings.
   
   In the song, Taylor tries to describe the way she sees him different and shining, more than any other boy.
   
   She talks about her hidden feelings that she tries hard to repress, but she can't help loving him: she's dying to kiss him in the rain, and she says she'll always be there for him because she's different from all the other girl: she wrote a song for him too.

   I love this song because I can relate to it, as every girl in the history of the universe, I have the biggest crush on my guy, Nathaniel. I like him for all the reasons in this song. I made a Taylor Swift playlist to tell him I like him, this is definably going to be in it!

   She says that even if Stephen may be good-looking, she saw something good about him. She is an acquaintance of this person, and they have chances to talk. But despite that, she doesn't end up saying the everything she really wanted to tell him. Probably because Stephen doesn't know she likes him.

   This Stephen person is adored by many girls, probably 'flirty' girls since they 'toss rocks at his window'. However, unlike those other girls, she won't give up on him and she is just always there for him.

   Maybe, Stephen usually attends to her in situations. She is probably used to being alone, but that changed when she met Stephen.

   She is trying to resist her feelings for him, but that obviously fails otherwise. She depicts Stephen as a one-of-a-kind person. He is definitely someone that is appealing. There is something special about him, that made him shine above everyone else.

   This is a really catchy and cute love song :)
   It is about Taylor knowing she is the right girl out of all the many girls that want this one guy 'Stephen' who is really Stephen Barker Liles. She is too afraid to say her real feelings, so instead writes them in a song. She is adorable in the way she describes how much he shines and how amazing he is.

   "Hey Stephen" is Taylor's way of telling Stephen Barker Liles, the lead singer of Love and Theft, that she has a crush on him. Taylor Swift has never confirmed this, but is apparent, because the name of his band, Love and Theft, is encoded in the lyrics.This song is easy to relate to, because almost everyone has been in love with someone before and been afraid to come out and say it to him/her.
