Back Door Man Lyrics

euaaah! Eeuh! um on, yeah. Come on, yeah.

I am! yuh
I am a backdoor man,
I'm a back door man.
the men don't know,
what little girls understand

while all you people,
are tryin' to sleep.
I'm out there makin'
with my midnight dream,...

Well, if the correct lyrics go up. He is talking about sneaking around at night and making it with other mens' wives. I don't think it's his song.

Y’all talking about anal sex. Lol. No, the term “back door man” LITERALLY meant the other guy…the guy messing with the married woman having to leave by the back door when the husband arrives. Jim Morrison’s lyrics are not that much different to the original…same context, same story. It’s not about anal sex, it’s not about pedophelia, and it is not about gay sex.

A backdoor man was a woman's side piece. He would sneak in and out the back door so he wouldn't be seem by neighbors. "The men don't know"

Always makes me think of Hunter Thompson in Fear and Loathing asking a woman if she's a "back door beauty" or something like that. OF COURSE it's about anal sex.

Backdoor man meant back then what it means today, "anal intercourse"
The big difference is the reasoning behind it, back then it was a safe way to avoid unwanted pregnancies and the resulting odd ball looking kid in the family.
Nowadays it is so widely known and practiced, it actually is no longer a taboo as it was back then.

Wealthy gamblers, musicians, mobsters, people that lived life’s that people dreamed and did so after midnight (Hey all you people that are trying to sleep ,I’m out to make it with my midnight dreams) Like as in the back door to a club or casino (you men eat your dinner eat your pork and beans I eat more chicken any man ever seen). Like as in a poker game winner winner chicken dinner.. ) The song was wrote bye willie dixon who was born in the Mississippi delta and I assume life was hell and most probably accepted life and how it was but willie dixon was saying ah hell nah I’m gonna make it outta here I’m and I’ll be famous, so famous I’ll have to use the back door. And when my life’s over The devil himself will have heard of me and he’ll show me the back door back to earth.

WOW! What was anonymous from Sept. 19, 2019 tripping on? Serious mental issues, I recognize them and you don't have to have a Ph.D. in clincal psychology as I do, to see it. "Back Door Man" is an obvious reference to anal intercourse, though in this case Morrison is not talking about gay sex. He specifical say's little girls they understand - which can be a reference to young women (not necessarily underage) - back in the 60's and even in the 70 grown women where often referred to as girls. And "I eat more chicken than any man ever seen" sounds like it could be a reference to cunninglingus - though these days the lyric probably would have said "I eat more tacos than ..." Really wtf is 9/19/2019 talking about with "satanic sacrifices of people children cannabilism". Must be an always Drumpf'er (The Trump's actual last name until they changed it when they came to the US) who believes every bizzare conspiracy gossip he or she hears. See a shrink. Seriously.

Sounds to me like he was outing the music industry in general covering all of it in whole because now we know u have to get it in the butt by men and suck it for them and do sacrifices for money and fame pretty sure we can now all agree it has everything to do with pedophilia and gay sex for money and fame so much is coming out now about sports music entertainment in general about satanic sacrifices of people children cannabilism put the lyrics together and he loved the standard hotel and bad bad stuff happened there think all musicians tell us what’s going on we just don’t listen for real!

You'll note Jim did not use the same lyrics Willie Dixon did.

Actually, I followed the Doors since their inception (1967). I’m old. Jim Morrison’s first love was the blues; he was fixated on sex, drugs, death, the latter being in The End, where he welcomes, mournfully, the end. His references to snakes and reptiles, were phallic. Back Door Man (written by Willie Dixon) was about both anal sex and cunninglingus with young girls, as referenced in “...eat mo’ chicken any man ever seen”. Rider’s On The Storm is about the dangers of life in general and the possibility that when he hitchhiked and the people picking him up were really were taking a chance. He could have been a serial killer. Jim loved L.A. (LA Woman). This was his home. “If they say I never loved you, you know they are a liar.” "I see your hair is burning, Hills they are on fire.” is reference to the frequent fires we have here in the hills surrounding L.A. The story about Jim dying from a heroin OD are greatly exaggerated, as an autopsy was never preformed. It’s rumored he slipped while in the bathtub a couple of days prior to his death. While he was no stranger to drugs, including alcohol, he may have died as a result of that fall or an OD? No one knows and Pam is dead. Honestly, I don’t believe she knew either. Yes, he was using and drinking. The Doors were truly a great, extremely talented group, with Jim’s lyrics, looks and their musical talent, they were not only unique but never to be imitated--although many tried. RIP.
