Someone was wondering about this on the request list. GREAT song but it's not mystical, it's just the story of the band and how they got together. "McGuinn and McGuire": Roger McGuinn of the Byrds and Barry McGuire, who had a hit with "Eve of Destruction". Creeque Alley is a place in the Virgin Islands where the band landed up at one point.
