   I heard on a radio show a couple of years ago that this song was about an encounter with a UFO. It was a paranormal radio show and a guest on the show said that the Moody Blues song was about an encounter with a UFO.

   I was helping my friend take care of his mother during her last days. I had spent a lot of time with her, and she could be mean and nasty at times, while sometimes she was nice. I never knew how she would be from one minute to the next, but I did the best I could to see that she was comfortable, and I would ask her how she felt about things. She would usually be pretty negative, but sometimes I got her to laugh, and I’d tell her that maybe she would feel better tomorrow.
   Early on a Tuesday afternoon my friend called and said that Hospice had just left, and she had passed on quickly, that I could come over to see her one last time to say goodbye if I wanted. I immediately drove over, thinking that at last she must be at peace. I turned on my car stereo on the way over, and the Moody Blues song Tuesday Afternoon was on. It felt like a message from her, letting me know she was ok now.

   I think it's about death and moving to the other side. Listen to the words and tell me what you think. My grandmother was in the hospital dying, and that song came on the radio. I took it as a message that she would be dying on Tuesday afternoon, but she was moved to hospice that day and died the next Saturday while I was holding her hand.

   It is completely about letting go of worry. Understanding its a useless and harmful emotion. Now im on my way. Chasing the clouds away=watching worry go away. Clouds equal worry. Just the kind of day to leave myself behind. Leaving an unhappy. Worrier guilty low self esteem person to themself. Im gonna be happy and at peace
