This song needs to be canceled. Come on, singing about a little girl and a pedo’s relationship. The little girl not minding it as long as she gets what she wants? This song is satanic and pure garbage. It’s opposite of cool. I’m guessing pedos like this song.

Pedo trying to make a little girl wear a lot of make up. Look at all the child actors in Hollywood who have so many problems with drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, sexual identity issues etc. But my God, this song tugs at my heart!! -
I never thought of this as being about her life. I've always interpreted it to be like a short thriller about a pedophile, thinking he's preying on a little girl, and then it turning out that the little girl is evil and she's the one who's preying on him instead. Just imagine a man thinking that he's abducted a young girl to abuse her, and that he's convinced her that he's taking care of her, but when he goes to bed, he wakes up chained down. She does all sorts of sick stuff to him and he has to endure it, while regretting snatching her for all the sick things he wanted to do. I don't care what the actual interpretation is supposed to be. I like mine LOL... I think it would be an awesome movie.

I disagree with the idea that it's about a little boy because of the reference to drag makeup. That's all about the heavy makeup used on child actors. The entire song is about the acting industry and what it does to children. There's a reason Taylor stopped acting, and it wasn't because she didn't have the looks or the talent.

I always thought it was about Taylor’s time as a child actor, which she hated, it always kinda made sense to me, but I can definitely see some of the other interpretations too

I think it intuprates the process of what a child goes through in a relationship with a pedophile staring a little weary and unsure. To being convinced it's a mutual decision and they are the same. Then lastly showing the need for the pedophiles approval in the end due to the child being reliant on the phedophile for self worth or gratification.

It's about a little boy - seeing as the man used the phrase drag-queen, and drag queens are men who dress up as women - who is being manipulated by the older man, abused into believing that he is his knight.. or his ''savior'' as the song said. It's dark and twisted, but, the song is KILLER and AMAZING.
