   "I'm adding something new to the mixture
   So there's a different hue to your picture
   A different ending to this fairytale
   And no sunset into which we sail " it's those lyrics that pretty much sum up everything. I think he desperately want to be with her, but they can't be. She wants something different a "fairy tale" and he just wants her.

   -"you and me forever, we belong together" = they were made for each other
   -"and we'll always endevour throughout any type of weather"=they'll be together through thick and thin
   -"you want everything to be just like stories that you read but never write"=fairy tale romances
   -"you gotta learn to live and live and learn, you gotta learn to give and wait your turn or you get burned"= you have to let the love grow and not do anything to spoil it
   -"we wrote our names down on the sidewalk but the rain came and washed 'em off so we should write 'em again in we cement" = that means that they are ready to commit to each other in a serious relationship (from chalk to permantly engraving their names on the sidewalk"
   -"so people a long time from now will know what we meant"=so later on people still know that there is no love like theirs
   -"you want every morning to be just like stories that you read but never write"= again with the fairy tale romance but them being together and waking up together every morning
