Can We Dance Lyrics

I talk a lot of (shh) when I'm drinking, baby,
I'm known to go a little too fast.
Don't mind all my friends, I know they're all crazy,
But they're the only friends that I have.
I know I don't know you,
But I'd like to skip the small talk and...

It's basically about when you meet a girl at a party and all the flirtation, and you start falling in love with her. She caught your eye, probably becuase she's beautiful, and you just want to dance with her and make her feel the same for you. And in this case, you had too much to drink, so you talk nonsense and rude things, and you're going too fast, but she wants to take it slow. So she gets upset with this behavior and you don't know if you should just leave or stay, because she might actually like you.
    That's what I think. :)

I think this song is about a guy trying to pick up a girl at a party and not doing a good job of it. The chorus is about how he is trying to be upfront about himself and his “crazy” friends bring harmless. The verses are mostly about him behaving badly and hoping she’ll understand that he is just drunk and means well.

hmmm more likely she got a girl but the perfect ending screw u by his friend and he end up drinking and talk nonsense. she hooked by this girl in the club but at the same time he just want to go to the door's girl she loved. quite complicated though....
