The White Stripes: Hotel Yorba Meaning
Song Released: 2001
Hotel Yorba Lyrics
with one eye on the other side
I had fifteen people telling me to move
I got moving on my mind
I found shelter
In some thoughts turning wheels around
I said 39 times that I love you
to the beauty I had found
Well its 1 2...

Its a song about a girl he fell in love with primarily. He wants to Mary the girl and wants a life alone with her. The hotel yorba is a crappy empty space where stoners and prostitutes go. He's using the hotel as a symbol for his wanting to take on the world with her, the good and the bad. So he means he could go into this dirty old shit hotel with this woman and it wouldn't matter because he's there with the woman. If that makes sense.

Are you all crazy? It's about a hotel he grew up down the street from. It was a grand hotel that became a mess. It's history is huge In Southwest Detroit. I love this song. Video and the fact that jack and Meg are always still 100% about Detroit. True Detroit

Hotel Yorba is the explanation of a voyeuring place set in one room of the Hotel Yorba. Jack White went there and after watching through the hole he fell in love with the beautiful girl on the other side, then tryed to get married with her. But he never got that girl so is singing about his fantasies on her.
-
Hotel Yorba is a Hotel in his old neighborhood. It's a hotel that is often used for junkies or/and prostitutes. He is singing about his dreams for the future in such a place that attracts people who have given up on their future. Him and Meg acknowledge the sadness of the place and they embrace it because it is part of their home. The dreams of a better future are what keep them optimistic and above the temptation to downward spiral in a place that attracts people that have meet rock bottom.

Ok, I doubt that anyone will actually look up the meaning of this song but for the sake of completion here's a description.
Its about a crappy little hotel that he felt a special connection with.
