I believe "Cactus Practice" refers to a traditional use of peyote cactus by certain Native American tribes in North America. The use of this hallucinogenic substance is believe to bring prophecy and epiphany to it's users. In this song, Tori's character uses it to understand her relationship in all it's previous incantations and how she lost her fire.
