   It is not about a house burning down. This about about a marriage or long standing relationship that hasbeen through some storms and needs to be rebuilt, one step or brick at a time. Any one who has been married or has faced troubles in a relationship can recognize that. Don't take things so literally people!

   according to me its about a couple that was torn apart when one of them really still loved the other. Maybe stuff from the past had resurfaced and made it impossible for them to keep on loving each other.
   They have now worked through the dark past and want to get their relationship back on track. Brick by brick.

   Brick by brick is a complex story of a house that burned down and a couple, desperate to rebuild their house- and their relationship. This cold also be interpreted as the story of a couple who's relationship has been torn apart, and, "brick by brick", they are tryingto rebuild it.
