   I think Marry Me (also judging by the video)is about a man, sitting in a diner, who sees this woman and instantly falls in love with her. I think that the lyrics are the thoughts running through his head the moment he sees her, "Marry Me." he immediately knows that sheh is the one for him.

   I do believe this song is about a man who sees his life with this woman, but hasn't the courage to ask her to marry him. He is overwhelmed. Love and fear unite. The first time I heard this song, I cried because it hit home. I am not married to the man that I should be because he didn't have the courage to tell me that he loved me. So, for all the young lovers out there who are comtemplating, don't. You will never know if you never ask. It is one of the most painful heartaches. You know that one can not live in the past and in regret, but it is very hard to let go.
