   Tupac is focussing on the fact that his mom was on crack and was single and had two bad behind kids she still took great care of them and show them much love and he can't pay her back so he is showing her apprecation in this song.

   What this song really talks about is allthe struggles he and his family went through while he was growing up. He isn't focusing on things that only he did wrong, although that's his main focus.
   He talks about how he never thought he would be locked up in the state pen [and hey who think in elementary, one day i'd see the penitentary].
   He also mentions his mother's addiction to cocaine, and forgiving her for it, and saying she basically was still all they could have wished for [and even as a crack fiend mama, ya always was a black queen, mama]
   then he goes on to talk about how his father not being in his life as a child made him extremely angry [he passed away and i didn't cry cuz my anger wouldn't let me feel for a stranger]
   next he talks about how he got started into drug dealing. he says that he hung around with the older dealers as a little kid because they gave him protection, and made him feel loved, and eventually as he got older he grew into it. he says that he isn't really comitting a crime selling crack because it pays his bills. he then buys her a diamond necklace to show how much she means to him.
   he then proceeds to talk about all the sweet things his mother did for them when they were kids, and how she always loved and nurtured them. he basically says that he knows & appreciates all the wonderful things she did for them, and that he can never pay her back.

   I heard this song was written while Tupac was in prison. I think its just a thank-you to his mother for all he put her through during his life up to that point. He feels that even though she probably isn't proud of what he has done all the time, she still deserves to know that she is in his heart forever and always. Its a very emotional song I beleive.

   Tupac is mainly talking about how his mother was a single mother on drugs having to take care of two kids, and she still happened to show them heaps of love though, and talking about how much Tupac cares about her to write a song.
   
   And how Tupac was growing up, with the thugs, and older boys doing bad things, but they still showed him love and watched over him like a second family.
   
   And he had no love for his Dad,cause he wasnt there, and when his father passed away he didnt cry, cause his anger wouldnt let him feel for a stranger.

   it means how his life was and how his mum look after him in the bad side. it means his mama did not leave him or his sister in the streets.he is sayin how she was when his father dad.sayin that it was brave of her to do what a poor mother can do to look after to bad kids on her on.
