   "This song is called Ruby, it’s about a girl who goes to my church, Josh and I’s church. She’s just a little girl, she’s got Down Syndrome, she inspired me."
   
   Tyler views Ruby as an angel; pure and righteous. He knows that she holds the answers to the world’s problem (In an interview, Tyler talks about how ‘Migraine’ is an attempt to make his audience aware of a problem in the world), which isn’t even completely understood by Tyler himself.

   We as a people need to get closer to the simplicity and innocence of Ruby. Ruby is a child of God. She doesn't demand, inflict physical or verbal violence against anyone. She doesn't judge others. She is seen as unsuccessful or a problem by most people in our society but in reality she is a queen. I think the song points to Ruby as the key to heaven. We need to be more like her.

   Ruby I just about how pure we can be, and how impure our society is.
   
   It's kinda Tyler found a Down girl, who can be the cure of the world big problems because of her innocence.
   
   She looks like that good girl that can inspire anyone, just being the way she is

   When he says "tell our dad I'm sorry" he is telling Ruby to apologize to god on his behalf because he is not a s pure or innocent (lile an angel) as she is.

   This song is about a girl with Down Syndrome who went to Tyler's church. The part "I've waited all week to see you" (Sunday) is when they meet at church. I dont know what happened to her, but she seems amazing.

   Tyler meets a girl named Ruby. She's so innocent and pure he hopes to keep seeing her. He goes to meet her mom who invites him over. He goes into her room. Her mom tells him she painted her room pink but she was so great she painted it red. He sees her one day every week and he jokes about how her soul will captured him. He realizes it's true. He sees how nicely she plays with her dolls, how she obeys her mother, how she always does what she supposed. He thinks it over. She is the key to the Promised Land. He asks her where is she from. No human is this holy. He looks at her and makes a place called Sha la le la lam. Ruby is a angel. That's all there is to it.

   Ruby is a child in a land of sleep. She rules but she doesn't do anything wrong. Tyler sees her every night and he very quickly adores this little girl. One night she tells him she can take him to the promised land. He agrees and when he wakes up he meets a girl name Ruby who is just like the Ruby in his dreams. Except she has Down. He doesn't even care. He adores her just like the dream Ruby. When he goes to sleep he sees Ruby smiling on how he hasn't changed. Ruby is Ruby in both versions. He knows that and is proud he knows Ruby. Ruby is a queen to him.
