In the song the writer could be talking about a couple or about losing a loved one, which is a little bit how I feel when I hear it. When I hear this song I think of my best friend. Why? when I hear this song it reminds me so much of how I feel about her, me and her been through so much together and I haven’t been able to see/talk to her in about a year, it feels like she doesn’t even exist. In my opinion this is a very delicate song. I love the lyrics because the writer put this song like a message but in a powerful way. I like to think of the song as when you love someone so much in your life its like fireworks exploding in the sky when that one person is gone I feel like half of a whole you don’t really know who you are until the one person comes into your life and when that special person leaves you feel lost “like all the missing pieces of my life they finally collide finally collide.” but then they leave and those pieces become missing pieces again.

I recently attempted suicide almost leaving behind my husband and daughter.
When my husband was waiting to find out if I was okay he turned to this song, he showed it to me when I woke up.
This song has helped me learn what leaving behind my family would do to them and it helped show me that I want to be the voice for the unheard people in this world. Thank you We The Kings. Thank you for this song, it saved my family. -
This songs represent me when I lost someone that loved and i will never be able to see again also this song can tell when someone will go through a hard life when they lose someone they loved and cared about.

This song is so meaningful because when I heard this song many thoughts on my mind that make me overthink ; that when you love someone just love here like a fireworks in the sky but don't give you're full love to here coz when the days come that you're love one's get tired of you're relationship it's like a missing pieces that finally collide.

This is a song about death. How a lover feels alive while they are dying. How their love gives them the strength to face their fear of death. Because their love gives them purpose and meaning. It kept their life from becoming only a sad song or a story of what could have been.
This person doesn't want to go, they don't want to leave their other half. They don't want to feel incomplete but it's a win/lose scenario. I think that this song is about a guy losing his wife, so he feel she can't move on without her. On the other hand, it could be about him losing his best friend. Either way, it's about losing a loved one.

I think there are quite a few ways to interpret this. The one that resonates the most with me is that a girl just broke up with a guy, or vice versa, and he (or she) doesn't know how they're going to continue without the other. They feel lost without the other person and not sure what to do. He/she feels like with the other person, they were whole, and now they're on their own, they're broken
I feel really strongly about this song. When I broke up with my sort-of boyfriend, he sent me this song and I spent a few days crying. -
For me the message of the whole song is when you love someone seriously,your life is like a fireworks exploding in the sky,you feel happiness and enjoyment but when that person you loved leave ,left anyway, then you feel like a half of the whole like you feel loneliness and by these you feel sadness in your life and fear to love again.

I think this is not that a sad song .. it's just tell how much we love even it's kind of hard sometimes to commit but you still go on through your feelings 'cause you are in love, and be loved by someone. thanks!

I really don't know but,this son is my song for my dad. Because I don't get to see him much. It is hard. But this song makes me feel better. I think maybe it means that, we have all lost people in our life's so then this shows us we are in it together. But I don't really know.
