   I am a dance instructor and came across this song tonight doing music research for class and always loved it. I had absolutely no idea it was about considering abortion and not doing it. This hits very close to home for me as my daughter, Emma, born in 2011, is my little miracle. I was in a very difficult situation. The father was abusive and threw me down the stairs at 3 months of pregnancy and told me that he would try to drown her when she was born. I demanded he leave me alone and never come back, and he hasnt. My financial situation was not pristine and I also had another child, my son Elijah, who we are getting tested for Autism. I wasnt sure if I could handle having another child in my situation and because I had become pregnant by an abuser I was not sure what to do. I have always been pro-life but when put into the spot I was in, even I was beginning to steer in a whole other direction. It wasnt until my 7 month that I started to feel more confident about having her and began bonding with her in the womb and named her Emma which means entire and universal or in other words 'having no part excluded or left out.' I had no business excluding her from my life because of what happened. She was a blessing and a gift. Sometimes, we are given trials that we cannot understand at the time. She is truly is my hero. I am SO thankful I was steered in a different direction and chose life for my precious little angel. She doesnt have a lot of family but she has a ton of people who love and adore her for who she is. I am so thankful for my precious baby girl and the gift I was blessed with!
