The Dance Lyrics

Someone is dancing on my grave
Sending shivers down my spine.
I hear a laugh, it awoke my soul
The wind takes the leaves where he

Definitely one of my favourite songs =].
So, yeah, when I first heard it it was always about a dead soul being tormented by a demon, or the devil.

...But I was looking at some WT fanart based on the song where it had been interpreted as a situation where a person is being used.
It depends on whichever level and depth you want to go to in order to find a meaning.

And also, I totally agree - Nevil?!
I went onto the site to see if anyone had any thoughts about that bit.
I figure it could just be someone the band knew. Nevil was maybe someone from the past that was haunting them.

I might be wrong, but I think this song is about a girl who's dead and the Devil(or a demon) comes to her grave and tries to take her soul. He seduces her and tells her he will take her to the promised land, but what he really wants is to take her soul to hell. That's just my interpretation.
One thing I still don't get: who the heck is Nevil???
