   I think it could mean an ex best friend or bf/gf that you had good memories with ends up dissing you or hurt you & you try so hard not to flip out on them for how they’v affected you in your life

   To the comment below, since you are best friends with her why not tell her the truth. If you are really the best of friends and she doesn't feel the same accept it. Who knows even if she has a crush she is just testing you if you will reveal your feelings to her or you are really her best friend for life. You are lucky to have a best friend. If feelings are mutual, good for both of you. If not, hope she will still like you to be her best friend. If she will avoid you or be not your best friend anymore, it means she was never really your best friend.

   I think it's about a boy that really loves a certain girl, but he understands that he dosn't have a chance to get her, so he decides to be one of her best friends so that he can get close to her, but she dosn't think he likes her since he's such a good so she tells her about who her crush is and he can just sit there and listen to the girl of his dreams tell him how much she loves another person and he bites his tongue because his too scared to tell her the truth and he can't hate her because he loves her. That happened to me and i feel like this song retells the story

   I feel like its about being picked on either its high school bullies or haters of a band and your terrified to stand up to them so you bite your tongue so they can't hear what you want to say and they keep you on the edge of your seat meaning that your almost at the breaking point but you continue to let it eat you up inside.

   I use this to my parents. I bite my tongue not telling them what I really feel. and they know they'd be nothing without me. I wish I could hate them, but I can't... they are my parents. They are always pushing me to the breaking point, (the edge of my seat).
