I agree with the other anonymous interpretation, our subject is a trick that has to make 20 dollars before the weekend's over. This seems evident in these two parts:

"And he loves the girls
And he loves the boys
Gonna make
Twenty dollars before the weekend's over"

And:
"Goin' down again
He's goin' down, again"

I wonder about his motivation, though. Does he need $20 for food? Or is it his pimp to whom he owes money and that will end his weekend? The lyrics seem to indicate that $20 is the objective and then our subject can end the weekend as if he doesn't do this for fun.

Or perhaps he needs the $20 to score some dope that would also end his "work" this weekend.

Either way, I love the song and the story. If he is a trick though, $20 should be way less than one "transaction" so I may be wrong...

Hes a homeless trick,trying to make ($20.) To SURVIVE.
And everybody looks down on him,even when hes getting beat up.

But,someone does see him as a person & gives him the respect he deserves.

"But it rips your heart out...."self explanatory, but there is great pain seeing someone you care about living this way.what can you do?..nothing. so,"god save the king"its all u can do.
