Blind Faith Lyrics

Sweet sensation

I am the man with the heavy heart, and i dare not turn the pages. Riding with automatic self destruction. (I) Is a blind faith, a cruel waste, one bitter taste.
So I know i need this sweet sensation.

(Ooooh) Sweet sensation,
The...

'so i know I need this sweet sensation'
    'dancing with the devil'

dancing/drugs/sex will try to the ease the pain of the misery that one faces in life, however it is a 'blind faith' because it will not cure the misery, only 'ease your mind'

Hope you like this interpretation, amazing songs, takes me back to the days of the underground raves and the copious amount of mdma we consumed!

This song and video is about eating disco biscuits, plain and simple, not a broken heart or even an addiction. It's about just releasing all your stress from the week and just getting smashed at the weekend with everyone's favourite girl, Mandy!

I think it's trying to say that his life is lost forever, he hates it, and i trying to revive his life by praying to god.

It sounds like finding God. The ways of the world are like dancing with the devil, it takes a blind faith to let them go. I can only speak from my own experiences and say there is nothing like the sweet sensation of finding the reality of God. It is better than any drug or sex (and i have had both).

This is such a cool song. I discovered it listening to my kids music. I am a 40-something businessman (crikey, nearly 50!) and I have had a lot of stress, hassle, pain, money, and some joy too, in my time.
It describes to me the need to let go of the burden of life just for a while. A heavy heart doesn't necessarily mean pain, just responsibility and accountability, and the burden of carrying it. Sometimes you just need something to take it away. For me, its sex and alcohol, maybe for you its drugs (never touched 'em!) but in this increasingly pressurised technical 24/7 world, you just need a break, and the 'sweet sensation' is a way out. And yes, its a blind faith. There is only one true faith, but we are all too scared to embrace it, as its not cool, so we dance with the devil instead. Funny that.....

I see this about fighting with self destructive instincts. You work all week long and the only thing you can do is dance with the devil to let the stress go. The music will ease your mind.

A relationship has broken up and he's heart broken... And has turned to drugs (or maybe sleeping around) ... Dancing with the devil/sweet sensation...

Watching the video makes me go along with drug theory ..

But I googled trying to find the meaning so I'm not even too sure myself!

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
