   I googled the meaning for this track, and it's about his ex girlfriend's miscarriage. I feel David's pain as me and my wife went through the same thing. But with twins. I relate to this so g a lot. I rely feel for the guy

   If my personal demon with My Child. I lost my daughter Hailey to her mothers fucking coke addiction. EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE I LISTEN AND CRY. It has been over 9 years since the Reaper CHEATED ME. I will suffer eternally. I firmly believe David lost a child in his journey. I feel his pain and mine.

   Draiman in an interveiw with metal hammer said what this song was about and i cannt remember the exact wording but the general jist of it was that in the time between touring he had met someone and they were going to have a child together but i believe she had a miscarriage and the song is about how felt "The Reaper Cheated Me.." this line is how he felt he had been cheated out of the chance of being a father. He also said the with the heartbeat at the beginging of the song and the deadline at the end he was choking up because it is obviously a very emotional song for him.
