   In 2012, Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) tweeted about Eminem's (Marshall Mathers) daughter, Hailie Jade, who was sixteen at the time. The tweet read, "ok so I just saw a picture of Eminem's daughter...and I have to say, she is hot as f*ck, in the most respectful way possible cuz Em is king." Although Baker claimed to apologize behind the scenes, Mathers banned Baker from his SiriusXM radio station, Shade 45, in 2015. Because of this, in 2017, Baker did a freestyle rap with The LA Leakers on Power 106 FM, in which he stated, "I'm my favorite rapper alive, since my favorite rapper banned me from Shade 45." Baker also collaborated with Tech N9ne (Aaron Yates) and targeted Mathers. As a response, Mathers released a surprise album, Kamikaze, including a song called Not Alike, which he said, "Next time, you don't gotta use Tech N9ne if you're gonna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun!" Two days later, Baker responded with Rap Devil, stating, "Took you six years and a surprise album just to come up with a diss!" In an interview with Sway Calloway, Mathers claimed he did not initially want to respond, because it would benefit Baker's exposure. Not long after, Mathers released Killshot, not holding back and taking every shot he could at Baker. Since then, Baker hasn't had much success in his career, but according to Vulture, Mathers was the best he'd sounded in five years!
