I think this song has several meanings. First, the little parts like ‘I wanna live a life like that, the life of the faithful one’ means that he wants to be like a peacekeeper, to right all wrongs. The chorus is meaning a greater force or detity is here. And the last parts ‘sick, oh, I’m alkaline’ bla bla bla, is talking about him trying to be a peacekeeper, but it’s not working, and he’s having doubts.
