it actually sounds like it would be about an unexpected pregnancy that didn't make it or something, mostly because of the end where he's like "you're smaller than my wife imagined, surprised you were human..." and then he says "when someone great is gone" reread all the lyrics with that meaning in your head and it makes a hella lot more sense :) idk if that's what it really is, but it sounded like that to me!
