It's not my style of music but it is catchy! I think it represents two extremes of every day life. You have large girls and thin girls...a preference to either is found in this song. Embrace it as a message to all that no one is perfect and that our own personal taste is all that counts! This song is so well put together...let's just enjoy it for what it's worth! Good luck Meghan with your career...you have a great start!

Bass means bottom/low so she is saying she is all about the low no high and that she is a girl who is not skinny but in fact a girl who is normal sized.

So, the woman in this song is claiming to be callipygian (large bottom), rather than buxom (large breasts).
When the mother says, "don't worry about your size" she is instructing the daughter not to worry about the size of her breasts, because "boys like a little more booty" or, in other words, a large bottom.
This seems a bit vulgar, to be, but I believe that this is the meaning. -

She could have phrased it better like she shouldn't say 'skinny bitches' because its kinda offensive but I love the song, I'm skinny but not overly skinny, like I'm healthy but I think there should be a song about all sizes being fine and people are always saying society tells them to be 'skinny' but reality check! Only dickheads say that now and now skinny girls get horribly bullied for it because I have, as silly as you may think it, have been bullied by a bunch of plus sized girls being called anorexic when I clearly was not and its not nice but I never one called then 'fat' because they weren't and I wasn't anorexic either. So just because your 'fat' you shouldn't automatically call smaller girls 'skinny bitches' and if your 'skinny' you shouldn't call bigger girls 'fat cows', boys too!!

A bass in music scores are round (which I'm guessing, represents plus sized people) and treble clefs are tall and skinny (representing skinny people). In the lyrics "every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top", she's saying that everyone is perfect just the way they are, so we shouldn't judge somebody else just because they are really thin, or just because they are really fat- because let's face it, society wants us to be perfect and we all know, no one is.

Meghan wants to let people know that what they have is envied, and they should embrace what they have. Skinny girls would kill for curves, curvy girls wish they had stick figures. The media is not what real people are. It's about loving your shape.

I think all she is trying to say is its ok to b different, and that perfect isn't possible. She is not trying to diss skinny people either even though it seems like it, she did say just kidding. She's just trying to tell the media their image of a perfect person is wrong because no one looks like that.

Its a catchy song but why cant we have a "feel good" song that makes everyone feel beautiful? We're just setting ourselves up for a war in who is better and who's not with songs like these.

Oh, goodness... really? I've been called a "skinny bitch" but that term comes from women who struggle with their weight and call those who don't "bitches" out of humorous jealousy. It's like saying, "your skin is perfect... I hate you". They don't really hate you or think you are a bitch! They are saying they are jealous that you don't struggle with it. As a skinny person who has struggled with my weight over the years and always think I'm fat even though I'm not, I appreciate a song that embraces body types that are not what the media/society tells us is beautiful. I think there's a lot more body acceptance going on these days, and appreciation of curves and full figures. I have to learn from my own teenage daughter that more guys like big butts than skinny ones!
