I think its about how he's in love with someone and she loved him back and they had something together but something happened to were they cant be together anymore. When he say's "Easily forgotten love" it means to me that she's forgetting him and their love for each other really easily. The line "I just want to let you know My mind refuses to let you go I wanna hypnotise you so You will remember me." means he wants her to remember her because she's already forgotten him. This is just my way of looking at the song though.
