The song is about a singer/songwriter/performer and his dreams of being and becoming famous in the city that never sleeps. Ultimately the singer gets his wish. While at the top, the headaches and consequences of being a big shot performer in a city that prides itself on lavish lifestyles, poshy appearances and diva mentalities begins to take a toll on the entertainer and he wants out. No longer does he want to be well known and famous... He wants to lay low and enjoy life... To sit on the couch smoke a fat one and relax. That's my take on it. Viva Las Vengeance is a catchy song with a bouncy bass line and strong vocals. I like it. Unfortunately the radio will eventually play the song so many times that I will come to hate the song and immediately change the channel the moment I hear the first note of it. Until then though... Welcome back Panic, I've missed you!
