Cigaro Lyrics

My cock is much bigger than yours,
My cock can walk right through the door
With a feeling so pure..
It's got you screaming back for more.

Cool, in denial
We're the cruel regulators smoking
CIGARO CIGARO CIGARO
Cool, in denial
We're the...

I'd say the featured interpretation has it down. SOAD has always been against US corruption of that sort.

Note that Serj sings "cigaro" like "Figaro", suggesting that the Americans in charge of this genocide, etc. often just sit around and smoke cigars, sometimes as though it's an art. That should explain the title.

Knowing that I'm not a generally "bright" person, I only managed to piece together one segment of the song.

"cool, in denial, we're the cruel regulators smoking CIGARO CIGARO CIGARO"

The way I see it is that this part (cool) is supposed to represent the way the government just goes along a says "Hey, guys! We busting it out out in two other nations AND our economy's going down the shitter, but we can fix it!"

On the other side that the U.S. Isn't supposed to know (in denial smoking cigaro) is that the gov is probably sweating like pigs thinking "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT. WHAT DO WE DO? Okay why don't we take a break and have a smoke (cigaro) ?"

That's just my take on it, though.

This wasnt meant to be interpreted in any one way, and it wasnt really meant to be so political. Basically this song is some insults thrown in with facts about how resources are wasted each day and genocide occurs. How you interpret this is your own problem.

I think that this song isn't talking about tobbaco companies or the Us government, I think this song is really talking about corporate leaders that think themselves to be bigger better and more powerful on the terms that their smoking cigars. " were the regulators that deregulate " is the CEOs excuses for being so power hungry and their willingness to walk all over innocent peoples lives. It also refers to how a CEO might ne working under a good cause, but the only reason they are actually in the buissness is for the green. Thus, they might be giving monney to the poor, but really be making huge sums of monney. The " my cock is much bigger than yours!" is just them trying to prove they are better than the people they walk all over

Really I think this song is about how teh political men of amarica are quite childish so they think by having better things like big cocks and stinky shit that that makes them better and cooler than everyone else

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I thought this was about turkey and how they are pussies and don't admit the genocide they caused Think about it

We are the propagators of a genocide
Burning through the world's resources then we turn and hide

Turkey hiding as in not admitting the truth then of course the genocide and they literally like burned Armenia's resources.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I Think it's talking about missiles. Saying how my missiles are bigger than yours. From the line "My cock is bigger than yours!"

I think the song is just talking about humanity in general (or maybe just America, unsure). The song could be saying that while we are 'burning all the worlds resources' we just think we're 'cool' but REALLY we're a cruel, cruel species that just sit back and smoke 'Cigaro' whilst we inflict torment on the world and whilst others are suffering. The fact that we 'turn and hide' after we our actions shows that all we care about is just doing what we want to do but then we're frightened by the consequences but still carry on doing what we want (Global warming etc). Or maybe that we all contribute to the horrific state of the world but none of us take the blame for it, we 'hide' from it. And the whole 'my cock is bigger than yours' verse is just showing that really all we care about is the image and perception of each other, being 'cool' whilst the world is coming to an end.

Im probably completely wrong and I'm happy for anyone to point that out to me. Great song thought with a lot of anger and humour. You can feel the rage but you can also laugh because it makes you think how fickle and stupid a lot of us are.

I think this song is ultimately about so much abusive materialism of U.S and other countries in the world that consumes great amount of resources of Earth, like gasoline and trees. Cigars are just an EXAMPLE that makes people addicted to its instant pleasure, just like self-destructive materialism of ours. We're polluting and destroying the environment, and that's why we're 'the cruel regulator' (of Earth's nature). This makes it clear why the band said "We're the regulators that de-regulate, we're the animators that de-animate, we're the propagators of all genocide(not people but environment), Burning through the world's resources, then we turn and hide". We create something like big cities not realizing that we waste all of environment, and just abandon that place to find another resource to deplete.

System usually have political meanings to their songs... It means that the U.S. thinks they are big and bad, and want everyone to cater to their every whim.

I really don't think this song is about kids wanting to be cool or something.
I mean... The lines "We're the propagators of all genocide
Burning through the world's resources, then we turn and hide" make quite obvious that the song is political, right?

Or the "propagators of all genocide" might be children after all... LOL

Ok I know I'm probably far off.
When I first started trying to interpret this song,
I thought it may have to do with the FCC

Now I know I'm probably wrong but listen.

They are talking about their "cock" and "shit" and what not, and those are normally words that have to be censored.

    Then they say

    "We're the animators, that De-animate"

The first thing that came to my mind is the fact that an artist thoughts and ideas can't be fully expressed because of censorship.

    I know I'm off but it's just a thought.

Honestly,I beleive that this song is about Fidel Castro-the dictator of cuba. Bassicly the stereotype that cubans always smoke cigars explains the title. and the lyrics 'My cock is much bigger than yours!''My shit stinks much better than yours!' is talking about "AMERICA/BUSH vs FIDEL" as it is saying how debates between pollititons often lead to petty insults, like penis sizes.

Maybe Serj is just magnificently well endowed.
