The song is given in the point of view of the person who has committed suicide, although suicide seems to be the only answer you ultimately extend your suffering to the ones you love and the people you left behind. In the song one of the lines read “ there’s no memories here, just the regrets of the dead”, this means that if you were to go through with it you would just be another dead person with regrets, you wouldn’t gain anything from the act just more suffering.
