Now Lyrics

Dont try to take this from me,
Dont try to take this from me,
Na-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ow.
Dont try to take this from me,
Dont try to take this from me,
Na-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ow.
Feels like Im waking from the dead,
And everyones been waiting on...

For me, that song has one meaning, that is, have a depression or a horrible psychological situation, but she/He keeps alive and become a winner (Lose the battle, win the war), Is starting all again after a great fall to be stronger.

    Part One

Don't try to take this from me
Don't try to take this from me
    Now-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow

This part probably means that the "Now" maybe seem to be totally bad, and it may makes you think that there will be no good things in the "Future", like if Now has stolen you the Future.

    Part Two

Feels like I'm waken from the dead
And everyone's been waiting on me
'Least now I'll never have to wonder
What it's like to sleep a year away

This entire song basically talks about the Farro brothers and their leaving, and it's very clear in this part.
Here, Hailey says that when the Farros leaved, the band felt like if that were the end. But after some time, Hailey, Jeremy and Taylor just saw that their fans are still with them, and there's a future for the band!
Some time before the Farros leave the band, it was passing through a very hard situation, and it maked Hailey want to sleep for a whole year, literally or not...

    Part Three

    But were we indestructible
I thought that we could brave it all...
I never thought that what would take me out
    Was hiding down below
Lost the battle, win the war
I'm bringing my sinking ship back to the shore
We're starting over, well, head back in
There's a time and a place to die but this ain't it

This is all about the post in the Farros' blog, that says that Hailey caused all the warms of the band.
When Josh and Zack were in the band, band felt "Indestructible", but some problems made the band members get apart.
"I never thought that what would take me out was hiding down below" talks about Josh. It means that he was kinda of a problem, for the rest of the band, bacause he were a very closer friend, that know lots of things, and really knew how to use it.
"Lost the battle, win the war" means: In the present, you may be destroyed, even by who you'd never think of, but it's not a problem if you face it directly. You may win the war if you know what to do, and don't matter the batles you lose (Since it's less than 50% of all, but this is math and aren't applyable in musics...)
"We're starting over, well, head back in
There's a time and a place to die but this ain't it" says that Paramore's rising up from the ashes, better than never, and that this is not time to stop the band projects.

    Part Four

If there's a future we want it now

Simple, as it shows itself... It's time to forget about what happened and start thinking of the future!

    Part Five

Wish I could find a crystal ball
For the days I feel completely worthless
You know I'd use it all for good
I would not take it for granted
    Instead, I'd have some memories
For the days I don't feel anything
At least, they would remind me
Not to make the same mistakes again

This is because Hailey made lots of wrong things, even from her own perspective, that made her live a life of regret, but only for a few...
"You know I'd use it all for good" talks directly to Josh Farro. He tried to denigrate Hailey for their fans, but in the end, he really know that she's not the only one to blame.

That's it! This song is all about the new Paramore, a rise up theme song!
