Let Me Down Slowly Lyrics

This night is cold in the kingdom
I can feel you fade away
From the kitchen to the bathroom sink and your steps keep me awake

Don’t cut me down, Throw me out
Leave me here to waste
I once was a man with dignity and grace
Now I’m...

Yes this could easily be interpreted as a break up however this could be a hint to concern about his or someone’s mental health as it talks about “the kitchen to the bathroom sink” and I believe most people could gather what could be meant.

This song is inspired by his personal experience of his first love. He felt like he was at her mercy, he just wants her to leave but he's asking her to be gracious while doing so

Could you find a way to let me down slowly?
A little sympathy, I hope you can show me
If you wanna go then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving baby let me down slowly

In my opinion, its about a boy who finds out his girlfriend/boyfriend is cheating, then he wants them to break up with the boy, but he wishes that the person has sympathy. In the song when it says "From the kitchen to the bathroom sink and your steps keep me awake" this kinda hints to me that the person is cheating.

    Someone be DYINGGGGGG!!!!!!!☠☠☠
so basically someone's wife, or girlfriend isn't in the greatest health and the man is asking her to tell him what's going on so that his emotional pain can be lessened. He doesn't want her to go, but he's saying that if she must go, to help him ease his way through it.

To me this is the ultimate song about brexit, although that may not be the singer's intention. Could be from the perspective of the UK or from mainland Europe or a mix of the two.

This song could be someone talking about a loved one dying and asking for sympathy and ease to recover from it. "I can't stop myself from falling, down". This can be saying that the death is causing them to be clumsy and fall all the time. As others say, yes, it can also be from a breakup. "If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely." This is saying that once they leave, the victim of the breakup will be lonely with no-one to lean on.

Sounds more like death. Kitchen to the bathroom sink (throwing up?) Somebody sick walking back and forth. if you leave me let me down slowly. I'll be so lonely. He needs to know the truth.
