Why Lyrics

Too many faces, too many faces, too many faces

I don't trust the thoughts that come inside my head (woo!)
I don't trust this thing that beats inside my chest

I think that the song Why is him trying to opening up about how once someone gets close to him he feels uncomfortable and feels like he has to push them away. He wants to let people in but he has trust issues so he has trouble letting people in.

Talking about how he "pushes away the people" that he loves the most, which could signify from "If you want Love" and "Let you down" about betrayals

It's a conversation between him and his pride, just like how Intro III is a conversation between him and his fear.

This song is kind of a catch up on Nate's life since Let you Down and Lie. "I hold my issues up for all to see like show and tell. A lot of people know me, but they don't know me well." Be careful who you open up to. People will take advantage of you and not regret it.
